About:China Transit Visa

Cruise Ship

I booked a cruise from royal carribean. our last stop will be in Shanghai, so we have to depart there going back to the Philippines. Are we qualify to the 24hr free transit if our flight back to the Philippines is same date as we arrived in Shanghai?

If your last stop before entering Shanghai is not the Philippines, you will qualify to the 24hr free transit in Shanghai. Nice trip.

Our last stop prior to Shanghai is Okinawa, Japan. Should i get a confirmation from Chinese embassy for this 24hr free transit? It can be settled in China port upon arrival?
