About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

technical stop. I am flying from san francisco to ho chi minh city.

My flight will land in Qingdao for a technical stop at 17:55 then take off at 19:30. Then land in Kunming at 23:15 then take off the next day at 15:55. I qualify for the 24-hour transit right? Since I enter Qingdao at 17:55 and leave Kunming at 15:55. Is that correct?

Hi, you can enjoy 24h twov in mainland China. No visa will be needed for that. Nice trip.

For 2 or more stops within China you have to apply for a transit visa on arrival at Qingdao airport.
