About:China Visa on Arrival

Three day visit to Zhuhai from Hong Kong

I'll be flying to Hong Kong soon. As a UK national will I be able to take the ferry to Zhuhai Jiuzhou port and obtain a voa to stay for 72 hours within the Zhuhai special economic zone before going back to Hong Kong? Or will I need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance from the Embassy in London? I've not been able to find a definitive answer.

John, if your travel route would be UK-Zhuhai-HK, you can apply for the 72h free transit in Zhuhai. No visa is required for that.

I will be travelling UK to Hong Kong, spending a few days in Hong Kong, then wanting to go to Zhuhai for 3 days, then back to Hong Kong and then fly back to UK. Can I obtain a 72 hour visa on arrival in Zhuhai? Is there a web site that has what the regulations are?

HK-Zhuhai-HK is not a transit, so you won't qualify for 72h free transit in there. You are advised to contact the Gongbei Port to inquire if you can apply for Zhuhai VOA. If you can get it, there is no need to apply for a visa for Zhuhai.

There's no 72-hour transit in Zhuhai in the first place so he would not have been eligible if he is in transit.
