About:China Visa Application in USA

When to apply visa

I am an Indonesian citizen and my husband is a US citizen. We are scheduled to arrive in Beijing as visitor on September 27th 2018.. When will be the sufficient time to apply for entry permit, and how much is the fee for multiple entry of 1/ 2years for me. Please advise.
