About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72hr transit

What if I booked a 72hr return to Beijing and showed an onward ticket to Hong Kong, but instead simply flew home on my return, not using the Hong Kong ticket, would that be a problem?

Seriously, don’t even think about trying to deceive Chinese immigration. You will almost certainly be caught, and the consequences will be unpleasant. You can expect a fine, a ban from China and a significant delay or detention.

This used to be possible in the past but now they would know you never left and you will have the problems rob lists above
