About:China Visa

Staying in visa for years on tourist L?

i hear about some countries where you cant stay there for more than 6 months out of a 12 month calendar year, even with multiple entries.

In China, is it possible where a person can get the 10 year L tourist type, and every 60 days that person goes to HK or Macau, and come back to china? can that person do that for years? I have a parent that is born in china and is Chinese, and has a US passport now. That parent is retired and wants to stay in china for the long term.

You can try to apply for a multiple entries L type from the China embassy or consulate in your country. After you get it, you can go to HK or Macau, and come back to China every 60 days.
