About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China

Can I fly to Shanghai, travel to other cities in Mainland China, fly to Hong Kong, and from there to Taiwan back to the U.S. on the 144-Hour Free Transit, or should I apply for a regular visa? I am currently in China.

You can only visit destinations in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang under 144 hour free transit. If you want to travel further than that then you need a visa.
