Do we need to collect the luggage if we are in transit for around 15 hours of lay over only and we want to avail of the day tour in Beijing?

You can contact with the airlines to confirm if you need to collect your luggage. If your luggage is delivered to the final destination directly, there is no need to collect the luggage. Otherwise, if you need to collect your luggage upon arrival at Beijing airport.
