About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hour Visa free transit if my flight stops in Qingdao and Xiamen

Hi, I'm planning to travel from Los Angeles International Airport to Kuala Kumpur, but my flight stops in both Qingdao and Xiamen. I read in your article that "The flights can only stop in one Chinese city, meaning passengers have to enter and exit from the same city." If I have a 53 hour layover in Qingdao on my way to Xiamen, will I be able to make use of this 72 hour policy?

Thanks

Of course not as 2 stops in mainland China limit you to 24h transit.

You have to apply for a visa in advance.
