About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How to apply for 24-direct transit

I was wondering how one needs to apply for the 24 hour rule. Do you just give notice at customs that you'd like to visit the city? do you get a stamp? Can you just leave the airport with your passport?

Yes, yes, and yes. However it is ultimately up to immigration whether to let you in, and if they say no, it's a firm no.
