About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 24 direct transit in Shanghai PVG?

Hi, I am holding Malaysian passport and currently in Japan. I will be going back to Malaysia from Japan and make a transit in Shanghai PVG for 5 hours layover(recheck-in baggage). Do I need to apply any visa? Thank you!

Hi, as I know, Malaysian passport holders cannot enjoy free transit in mainland China. So you are supposed to apply for a visa for that beforehand.
