About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is a train ticket a sufficient "onward ticket" ?

Hello,
I plan to arrive in China on day one and to leave toward Mongolia on day 2 by train. Can I apply for a 72 h transit free transit ?

No. The only train station that is eligible is the Beijing West Station. Mongolia train leaves from a different station thus a visa is necessary
