About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello, Great Wall Tour on a 72 hour Visa-free transit

I am planning on spending a couple of days in Beijing in July using the 72 hour Visa-free transit, before heading to Hong Kong. Are we ok to travel out to the Great Wall when on the free transit?

Thanks,
Matt

The 72 hour transit without visa is now 144 hours. You can visit the Badaling or Mutianyu sections which fall within Beijing region. Some other sections of the wall outside Beijing area are not allowed but if you don't stay in a hotel, they wont know.

Visits to Hebei is now allowed under 144-hour transit so should cover all parts of Great Wall with no problems.
