About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

10 day classic China tour.

Hi, my family and I are doing a 10 day classic China tour. We plan to fly from the US into Beijing, Xian and Shanghai and back to the US. Can we qualify for the 240 visa free transit? If so, who can we reach for help in applying and is there a link to apply? - this is the first time we visit China. Please advise. - Thank you

No, you need a visa. You can plan your trip like US - China - another country or region (like HK, Macau) - US to fit in the 240H visa free transit and a stopover also counts. By planning a trip like this, you can apply for the 240 free transit at the airport by yourself with your ticket back to US and hotel reservation easily. And you may fill the online arrival card on nia.gov.cn before you board the flight to China and then the process will be much faster.
