does dropping out of a chinese university automatically mean my student visa is cancelled?

iam at a university and because of personal issues, would like to drop out,would that cancel my student visa?and how long do i have to stay in china after that?if i have an acceptance letter to take part in a summer programme at another university would that help me maintain my student X?

Hi, personally I think dropping out of the university doesn't mean your student X is cancelled. But I cannot guarantee that. You are advised to contact the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire that. Good luck.
