Does dropping out of a chinese university automatically mean my student visa is cancelled?

iam at a university and because of personal issues, would like to drop out,would that cancel my student visa?and how long do i have to stay in china after that?if i have an acceptance letter to take part in a summer programme at another university would that help me maintain my student X?
