I have a valid Philippine passport and also has a residence permit in Norway. I will be visiting the Philippines next month and will have my layover in Xiamen China for 3 hours and 10 minutes. Do I need a transit G? I will be having my layover again in Xiamen China when I will be going back to Norway the following month.

You don't need it for you are able to apply for 24 h twov in Xiamen in both ways. Nice trip.
