About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

E-tickets for 144 hour visa free (Beijing)

I qualify for the 144 hour free transit but to obtain it, is it sufficient to present the itinerary which has my E-ticket reference number confirming my China Southern airlines flight out of Beijing? Or do I need a physical ticket from the airline itself? This is probably unnecessary worry but I want to be sure I have all the correct paperwork before I get there.

Thanks!

Print your e-ticket on paper.

My itinerary technically is my e-ticket and the ticket number I have been provided is not a China Southern number. Do I need to try and get hold of that or is it okay to show immigration the itinerary, flight number, booking references and the non-China Southern ticket number I have been given?

As Rob said, just print your e-ticket and you´re fine.
You don´t need the boarding pass at the immigration just the e-ticket.
The immigration officer will call China Southern if there´s any issue, don´t worry.

Its normal to have more than one airline on single e-ticket. Ticket number is from issuing airline, it doesn't matter who actually operates the flight. Airline A can issue a ticket for Airline B, no problem.
