About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

24 hour layover - enter mainland China

Hi,
We are travelling to Paris with a 24-hour layover in Hong Kong. We arrive at 5am and decided to take a trip to Shenzhen to visit a couple of suppliers, then will return to Hong Kong on the same day and fly out to Paris at midnight. Do we need a Visa or can the 24 hour direct transit suffice and will it allow us to exit Hong Kong to China?
thanks!

I believe you will need a visa. Hong Kong is considered as a separate region and your air ticket out of Hong Kong won't entitle you to transit through the mainland.

You may be eligible for Shenzhen VOA.
