About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

over stayed for 2 and a half years in china

if someone has over stayed in china for 2 and half years and he want to go back home ,what is the procedure to take and the penalties to be faced?

Hi, you need to report your situation to the local police station, and then pay the fine CNY500 per day; the capped amount won’t exceed CNY10,000, and accept other penalties. Then you would be able to apply for an exit pass to leave China.
