About:Soft Sleeper

Sleeper train tickets

Hi. We are getting the sleeper train from Dali to Kunming tonight. We have collected the one ticket for the two of us traveling. We think we have read somewhere that we have to exchange that ticket for another voucher before boarding the train. Is that right and, if so, how do we do that? Thanks very much.

I've had a response from another place and the answer is that the paper ticket is exchanged for a plastic ticket / door key by the train guard.

Yes, indeed! And when you about to reach your destination, the staff will come to you and give your paper ticket back.
