Rail travel from Shenzhen to Beijing

What would be the recommended train route to take when traveling from Shenzhen to Beijing, and an approximate cost per person. Just beginning to research a trip for sometime in 2019. Thank you.

For normal trains from Shenzhen to Beijing, K106 and Z108 are recommended. As they are overnight trains, I suggest you choose a hard or soft sleeper that the fare is around CNY 465-CNY 718. If you prefer to take a high-speed train, I recommend G72 and G80 which would be faster and more convenient. However, the fare for a high-speed train is a little higher than for a normal train which is around CNY 945.
