Hi, What type of visa do i need

I am from Kuwait i have flight from Bangkok to Japan and have transit for 16:20 hour in Shanghai and the return flight 3 hour in Nanjing what type of visa do i need

Adam, if you would travel like Bangkok-Shanghai(within 24 hr)-Japan-3 hour in Nanjing-Bangkok, you can use two 24 hr direct transit in mainland China. No visa is needed. Nice trip.
