About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Berlin - Beijing - Wuhan

We plan to travel to wuhan (for 3 days), however out flight goes via Beijing. Can we stay in Wuhan under 72 h exemption rule even though we don't directly fly to Wuhan (because of flight connection issues).

Two or more stops limit your duration of stay to 24 hours maximum with no exceptions. You must figure out a way to change your outbound flight so it does not stop anywhere else in Mainland China or get a tourist visa.
