Resident of China

I am a resident of China, and not a resident of the USA. I am a USA citizen needing a Z. Will the USA accept my application with a china resident permit inside my passport? Or shall I pick it up in Hong Kong or Macau?

Hi, Jo, if you have USA passport, you can apply for the work Z type from the China embassy or consulate in your country. The Chinese residence permit won't affect that.
