x2 visa request for multiple entry

If applying for an X2, is it possible to ask for a double or multiple entry to China? If yes, how can that be requested? (italian citizen)

As I know, usually the students X2 type is issued for single entry only. But you can try to apply for an double or multiple entries one. Just tick Two entries valid for 3 to 6 months from the date of issue or Multiple entries valid for 6 months from the date of issue or on the column of Intended number of entries on the application form.
