About:China Transit Visa

I will be flying through Shenzhen connecting to Canda

Hello,

I have a connecting flight to Seattle from Shenzhen. We will be flying to Shenzhen from Kuala Lumpur and have a 5 hour layover. I am a US passport holder. Do I need a visa even though we are just catching an international connecting flight?

According to what I know, passengers cannot get 24-hour free transit in Shenzhen, so you had better change the flight and transit in another city, otherwise, you may need a visa.
