can i visit beijing from a cruise ship with one entry visa if i have been to macau

I will be cruising into Beijing from hong kong and want to visit Macau just for the day. will this make my one entry visa to china used up

You cannot use Chinese mainland visa to visit Macau. Besides, you don't need it for the sightseeing in Macau. So it won't make your  one entry visa to China used up. Don't worry.
