About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

How to transfer from a domestic flight to an International Flight at Beijing Capital Airport?

I am arriving from Chengdu to BJ on Air China. I will need to get on an international flight back to the US on Hawaiian Airlines. Do I need to collect my luggage first and then where do I go?

If your flight is not connecting fight, you do need collect your luggage first. I’m not clear which Terminal are you in. Follows are the steps of transferring in T3 and you can also refer to the signs for transfer passengers for the corresponding waiting area.
STEP1: Flight Arrival & Transfer Procedures
STEP2: Inspection & Quarantine
STEP3: Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection
STEP4: Security Check
STEP5: Customs inspection
STEP6: Waiting & Boarding
