get a full soft sleeper compartment

Hi. We are a party of four and we would like to get a full compartment from Beijing to Shangai in the D trains. Can I buy the tickets online? Or only at the railway station? How can I be sure that we will be not separated?Thanks

You can buy it at the station or do it online by this website, both are OK. If you do it online, you can leave them a remark in the booking order that you need a full compartment of your own. They can do it for you.
