About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

My friend is girl went to stayed his sister who married there, overstayed a year, give advice me.

You friend should report the situation to the local police and then pay the fine, and other penalties. Usually, the capped amount won't exceed CNY10,000. Afterwards, she can inquire officers if she can apply for an exit pass to leave China.
