24 hour TWOV in Guangzhou

I am an Australian citizen travelling on an Australian Passport from Australia to France via Guangzhou China. Do I have to apply for my temporary visa at home, or can I do it when I arrive? What are the chances that my application will be successful, & how much will it cost?

Debra, you can enjoy 24 hour TWOV in Guangzhou, and you can apply for temporary stay permit upon arrival at the airport. It's free of charge. No need to worry.
