polish passport holder to apply for business visa

To whom it may concernI would like to apply for business M to China while staying in Cambodia for a week. That brings the question if it is possible for me to travel and check-in in different hotels in different cities while my passport is in Chinese embassy. Is there any kind of special paper or proof that will be enough for hotels to let me stay ? Sincerely yours Blazej

After you submit the application to the China embassy, you will get a pick up slip which can be regarded as passport. So you are allowed to travel and check-in in different hotels in different cities while your passport is in Chinese embassy with this slip. Don't worry.
