can i extend my s2 type in china?

Question

I am an Pakistan citizen.i will  live in Beijing. I will arrive here with my husband on 21th June .i got S2 which is 90 days and expire on 14 August 2018 and i wanted to live with my husband up to 1 September 2018. By the way mu husband have X2 which is permanent residency for four years in Beijing. Can i extend it up to 1 September 2018 without going back to my nation?and what is the procedure and please mentioned the consulate where i will go to extend visa?

It's possible for you to extend it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China. You should prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your husband and copy of his passport, as well as your marriage certificate. Then, submit the application to the local PSB.
