About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong to Guangzhou back to Hong Kong

Hey there,
I was wondering if it's possible to get a 72hour free transit if I fly from HK to Guangzhou then back to HK before my 72 hours runs out. I'm in Hong Kong and would like to visit a friend that lives there but don't have time to wait for full visa.
Thanks,
Sam

That’s not a transit, so it obviously won’t qualify for visa-free transit.
