I have an 18 hour lay-over at Beijing Capital Airport Terminal 3 between the USA and Mongolia.

Three questions: Do I need to reserve a room in the international lounge? Do I need to go through immigration to get to it? For 18 hours, should I go to an airport hotel instead (and can I do that without a visa)? Thank you - I'm an older woman traveling alone.
