About:China Student Visa

Applying For an X1

Hello

I read somewhere that if you're living in South Africa but you're not a citizen, you need a South Africa study permit valid for at least 6months when you go to apply for an X1..But what if my study permit is only valid for less than 6 months before it expires, will I still be able to apply for the X1 at the Chinese Embassy?.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, if it is only valid for less than 6 months before it expires, I'm afraid you cannot apply for the X type. You are advised to renew it beforehand.
