About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this route quality for 144 hours visa free

Just want to confirm Flying from Hong Kong to Shanghai and then to Macau, am I qualify to 144 hour free transit?

This is fine as Hong Kong and Macau are considered as different countries to China.
