About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I apply for a Free visa permit for 144hs?

In my case I´ll be flying from Ulan Bataar to Beijing and then to Philipines (final destiny is Bali). Can I apply for a 144hs permit so I get to know Beijing and around?

If so, I´d also like to know what exactly I need to get it. For what I´ve read all I need to do is find a counter the moment I get off the plane. Is that it? What documents will be required from me? I´ve read that I need to show my booked flight tickets and any visa I should need to get into the next country after China.

Thank you. Any additional info will be welcome.

It's very easy. Just print your confirmed flight tickets (and if you have accommodation booked in Beijing.then print the confirmation too) and be ready to show them at check-in and arrival..

Thank you for your answer.

I have another question. My partner, who is Spanish, is flying with me from Ulan Bataar to Beijing, and 4 days later, to Madrid Via Turkey. Is it posible for her as well to get the 144hs permit? I know she´s going back to her home country, but her immediate destiny after Beijing is Turkey. Is that ok?

She can get the 144hs permit as well. Don't worry.

Great! Thanks.

One more thing, I read that not all Airlines are recognized by chinese customs to apply for the permit. Iberia for example, won´t provide a form to fill. I may be flying with Mongolian Airlines, is there any info about it. Is there a list of Airlines I can check out?

Thanks again.

All airlines are recognised. You will often be given a Chinese arrival/departure card on your flight (this is for all non-Chinese, not just those without a visa), but if you don't get one on the aircraft they are readily available when you get to immigration in the airport.
