About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vietnam

I am Australian and plan to fly Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vietnam and need to be in Shanghai for 36 hrs. Would the transit visa apply?

The 144 hr free transit can cover your trip. No need to apply for a visa then. Nice trip.
