Buying high speed rail tickets directly from railway station

If we buy directly from the railway station, can we pay by foreign country issued Unionpay card?

As I know, most staitons in China could only accept Chinese Card.

no foreign cards at railway station.

You can get some cash at atms. Note not all atms can read foreign cards.
