About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Unsure regarding 72 hour free transit

I am flying from Sydney and connecting in Beijing then onwards to the UK as I am a british citizen. Will I therefore be eligible for the 72 hour free transit as my connection is only 11 hours in the airport?

If I am eligible, do I apply for this at the airport at the check in?

Many thanks.

Hi, you can enjoy 24 hr direct transit in Beijing, and you can apply for it at the immigration counter upon arrival.
