Business Trip unsure on Visa- London to China

Hi, I am coming over to China for a Business trip in approx 3 months (short stay) , however unsure what Chinese visa I need to apply for, what documents are required and the costing will be from London? different websites say different things (exempt in UK from needing Visa for short stay and others say £130 for a visa) ? Also It appears the London Chinese Visa Application Service Centre is closed, is this correct?

You may need a business M visa for this. The documents are:
completed Visa Application Form;
Passport;
Recent photos;
Invitation letter issued by Chinese company.
The visa fee is £130 and the service fee charged by the visa center is £66. The visa center in London will be closed from Jan. 29-31, 2025 for the Chinese New Year, no other news about closure.

If you don't want to apply for a visa, creating an 240-hour visa-free transit route is doable. See details: www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/visa/free-transit-144-hours.htm
