About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

If I go from Singapore(A) to Shanghai (B), and then back from SH (B)

to Singapore (A) trough and intermediary connection in Malaysia (C) as a 1 hour connection from the same airline company. Do I need a visa?
from air line company I have one single booking, buy a retrun flight ticket where the return filght ticket as a connection...

If my understanding is right, your route is A-B-C-A (B is Shanghai). In that case, you can enjoy the 144h visa free transit in Shanghai!
