Do I need a China Visa while on a 13 hour lay over in Beijing on June 28, 2018 and would want to see

I am a Philippine passport holder but a legal resident of the US. I have a 13 hour lay over in Beijing on June 28, 2018. I want to see the Great Wall and other attractions. Do I need to apply for a China visa in order for me to see these attractions?

Thank you very much

You don't need a visa to see these attractions during the layover in Beijing if you are traveling Country A > Beijing > Country B.
