About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

If I transfer my flight at CAN airport from Pudong to Penang.

Layover from 9:30 until 17:15, can I get out of the airport? Do I need China visa again? If it is allowable and visa applied, which attraction place I can visit during the layover timing?

As I know, a Chinese visa is necessary for your transit. So you are holding one, right?
Then, you can leave the airport and have a short trip.
