If you fly to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai, you can apply for the free transit. When you board cruise ship, you need to inform the ship's staff that you want to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. After arriving at Shanghai port, you can go to the transit counter to apply for the 144 hour free transit.
