Visa extension. Hi I'm from Philippines and a hong Kong resident

I have son and he's not a resident we go to Macau twice for my sons visa extension then when we arrived here in hong Kong the immigration officer told me that I can't exit Macau again for my son's visa extension.. So we are planning to exit in China.. Is it fine to exit in China for another extension?
