About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Guangzhou and Wuhan Transit

Hello! I am a Philippine passport holder travelling from San Francisco to Manila with a stopover in Wuhan (2 hours) and another connection in Guangzhou (10 hours). I would like to ask if I need to obtain a Chinese visa? or do I qualify for the 24 hour stay permit provided that total transit time on Wuhan and Guangzhou does not exceed 24 hours?

*This is an overnight transit and China Southern Airline will provide a free hotel, but I'm worried if I will be required a visa or I'm eligible on 24 hour temporary stay permit and could leave the airport TEMPORARILY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

Hi, you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in mainland China, and you can leave the airport. Don't worry.
