Hello, I plan to travel to Changbaishan area on October 4,

getting there by train in the morning from Shenyang.
I would like to spend that day, the night and most of the following day, departing by train in the early evening back to Shenyang. I'd like to visit mainly the western area (as I read it's less tourist) but I'm open to get to the northern area too.

Could you please suggest the best itinerary for such 2 days? And where would you recommend to spend the night?
