hello, i plan to travel to changbaishan area on october 4,

Question

getting there by train in the morning from Shenyang.I would like to spend that day, the night and most of the following day, departing by train in the early evening back to Shenyang. I'd like to visit mainly the western area (as I read it's less tourist) but I'm open to get to the northern area too.Could you please suggest the best itinerary for such 2 days? And where would you recommend to spend the night?

After arrival, you can find a hotel in Baihe Town, hotels like Shanshui Grand Hotel in 1 Fenglin Rd, Shengtong Hostel in 9 Songlin Hutong, Baishan Street, and Ping’an dao Hostel near the second hostel are recommended. Then, the last day can be spent on West Slope; On the second day, you can visit North Slope and Heavenly Lake!
