About:Yanbian Travel

I wish to visit Changbaishan during Christmas. Will fly from Beijing to Yanji to stay a night.

How far from Yanji to Changbaishan and what transport is available ?

It’s about 230km. You can take a flight to Changbaishan Airport within an hour. And then hire a private car to the mountain. It costs around CNY200 to North Slope, CNY80 to West Slope.
Or you can hire a car from Yanji Airport to the mountain, and it costs around CNY500.

there is a special airport for changbaishan. you can buy the ticket direct to there.
